gave 30 for a mosquito net |
posted October 13, 2010

Rosamond loves sleeping peacefully, especially after a long day with school and friends! Rosamand is the local pastor’s daughter in the Wellington municipality. She lives with her parents, one sister and one brother in a two bedroom block house with no running water or electricity. Rosamond’s father leads a congregation of 40 members, most of who are unemployed. Her mother is a trader. With their total monthly income of $110, they are unable to make ends meet.
The family’s meager income made it difficult for Rosamand to sleep well–without a malaria net, Rosamand was interrupted nightly by the bites and buzzes of mosquitoes. Understandably, Rosamand was so happy to receive a net!
Thanks Louis for providing the priceless gift of peaceful and sweet dreams!
