Marie Received a Net and Can Stay Healthy for School!

Marie lives with her mother and two siblings in a zinc sheet house with no running water and no electricity.  Her father is deceased and her mother has no steady income. Marie and her family depend on the kindness of good-hearted people and their offerings everyday.

Marie has known poverty all her life. After waking up early to fetch water from a community tap far from home, she walks to school just wearing plastic slippers. Since her mother struggles to pay her school fees, Marie’s education is often disrupted.

The malaria net was an answer to the family’s prayers–it has been on their wish list for quite some time.  This net will help ensure that Marie stays malaria-free. Thanks Louis for answering the family’s prayers!
