Provision of Vitamin Supplements Meets Need

Margaret is a promising child who lives with her two sisters and mother in a single bedroom, mud house with no running water.  Margaret’s father abandoned them five years ago.  She loves to help out around the home with fetching water from the stream, cooking and laundry.  Margaret is very talkative and would like be a lawyer when she grows up.

Her mother is a petty trader/market vendor – selling food provisions/groceries and earning a monthly income of about $50.  Due to this low income level, they scratch and scrape to make ends meet – skipping meals and eating meals that are nutritionally deficient.

Margaret was delighted to receive the vitamin supplements as nutrition has been a concern.  She has been taught the importance of a good and complete nutrition.
