Abubakarr was born at the peak of the civil war in Sierra Leone. His father, a petty trader, is now deceased. His mother works far away and has to leave the home very early and returns very late. His mother is the main provider with monthly income of US $40, which is inadequate for basic family needs.
Abubakarr does light errands for people so that he can have food in his mother’s absence. Their home does not have running water or electricity. Consequently, Abubakarr has to walk some distance each day to fetch water for domestic purposes. At night, the only source of light available is a crude locally-made kerosene lamp. Thankfully, some of their neighbors have electricity and Abubakarr goes to their house to study / finish his homework at night. Abubakarr wants to become a medical doctor when he grows up.
Thanks to these nutritional supplements, this aspiring medical doctor can now stay healthy. They are enriching his diet and providing valuable nutrition. Thanks for your support Daryl!
